We are taking a few weeks off the road to prepare for the album support tour this fall/winter. ROCK THIS COUNTRY is out and on sale now on our official website swampdawamp.com . We’re in rehearsals for the new show now and at home. We have a few sparse shows coming up so come out if you can. You really should check out the new CD, if you cant afford the $10.00 write me and tell me why and I will send you one for free…. So anyway, I thought I would spend some time blogging about all the stuff happening.

Hey everybody!
Yes It’s been awhile but here we go again! Since the last blog a lot has gone down in the SwampdaWamp camp. We finished the new release and have already released the new music video for the single Dance which you can see at www.youtube.com/swampdawamp or www.swampdawamp.com .
We have been playing a lot tightening up the show and having tons of fun while doing it!!
Now we are looking for street teams in all areas, if you’d be interested send us an email thru the website and we will get back with you immediately. All street team members receive shirts and cd’s among other swag and we will furnish you with flyers and things to pass around your town before we come in! Of course you get the VIP for all shows!! Shoot us an email for more info.
We have some cool contests coming up, some begin next week! One of them is to win a Spector custom 5 string Bass guitar worth over $5,000.00!! The bass that was used on the first album!
But I cant wait any longer to tell you the news!
We are going out for a 3 1/2 wk tour to Sturgis, South Dakota and back. We are in Sturgis for 9 days for 7 shows, but here is the really cool part.. we are filming the entire tour! It’s called “The Road to Sturgis”. A documentary about different cultures in different cities in parts of America, The whole event of Sturgis talking to all walks of life as well as the life of band on the road in 2008. We have some very cool shows in some very cool towns along the tour route. July 25 the band stops in to jam at the historic East Troy House in Wisconsin. Interviews with the owners, meet n greet the fans, the fans interview us, it’s going to be great!! Earlier in the day we are touring the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee!! Cool Stuff!!!
We are having big events at every stop along the way with spnosors like Jack Daniels and local Harley Davidson dealerships. If you own a dealership let us know.
Some of the contests I mentioned include getting to have dinner with band with a meet n greet at soundcheck to a pig picken in Minnesota!!! Depends on the tour stop as to the happenings!!
All of you, My Friends, please pass it on to your friends, we are encouraging anybody planning to go to Sturgis this year to meet us along the way or if you live in the areas of our tour stops come on out and hang with us!!!

Hey Everybody,
Yea it’s hit and miss with my blogs here lately but I’m trying to get back in the swing. So here I am about midnight on Thursday. I just watched the final cut of our first video!! Yes the one I have been hyping for to long!! The video for Dance is finished and will be hitting the web in a week or so. So yes I am pretty stoked at this moment. I just put in John mayer Trio to listen to while I write, very good stuff! Yes indeed I have a tumbler of Crown on the Rocks and am happy to be alive!
We’ve been through some shit these past few weeks keeping me from my normal frame of mind, but hey, tonight I am feeling like myself again for the first time in a while! We go through so many highs and lows that it’s hard to handle at times. Yea Yea big rock band has problems too!! LOL!! The price of fuel is making it very very hard to plan touring and among other things just the business itself is changing so rapidly it’s a daily headache.
But then I have these moments, like I said I feel great tonight and I’m happy to be blogging some good news to our friends!! So no POLITICS tonight! LOL!!
The past 3 months have been simply incredible for the band. The new 3 song promo for our upcoming album is now available an hitting radio everywhere we are!! LOL! The band as a unit is sounding and performing at an all time high and getting along like brothers as we should. We did a couple of shows recently with The Marshall Tucker Band, those guys are some of the coolest people around. We actually ended up on stage with them jamming at the last show. Doud Grey himself aske dme onstage with them, a career high!! Scooby and Cody ended up singing with them the same night onstage! It was cool comorader!!
So we are off to Covington Kentucky Saturday morning at 5 am~~ We have to trek up there in a Large Van because it’s a one off show!! Not real pleasant but worth it to jam at the Deadwood with Jeff Willis!! Speaking of tour bus travel, I am happy to to tell that Swamp is in negotiations now with a National sponsor for the tour!! Cant say who yet!! LOL!

Hey everybody!
It’s been a month or so since my last blog, I dont know how I’ll ever catch up. We’ve been in and out of a few states with some teriffic shows and met some fabulous people. I think I’ve met and hung out with more people from myspace in the last 4 weeks than ever before, that was cool!! It is always intriguing to meet people like that!!
So anyway lets see if we can get caught up here;
We have finished the new relaease bundle coming out digitally in a couple weeks as well as retail in the summer. We finished our first real video ever which will air on a few major networks and be all over the net as well as swampdawamp.com in like a week and is included in the for sale copy of this release which is now aptly named SwampDaWamp 2.0. The video will actually be on the cd with the tracks!
The last month or so we’ve been in the studio recording and in our own studio writing. So we’ve been scarce on here. The shit is about to hit the fan, we’ll see what blows back!!LOL!!
Hey Everybody!! Yes I know it’s been like 3 weeks since my last blog and I apologize for that, or um nothing. LOL!! Hey Blogging is tough!! I am trying to keep it real and not offer up a bunch of bullshit this n that, you know? So anyway it’s been a rough last 3 weeks. Everybody in the band has had the funky flu including me. I now am happy to tell you that we have all recovered nicely! I am still hacking up a couple of aliens a day 
but almost gone…… OK then! Lets Blog…..
So yes here we are…. It’s Monday night March 10. We had rehearsal today from 1 pm to 4 pm working on some new songs and ran thru the set for this weekends shows. David Lee took off after rehearsal to go to Nashville for the mastering of the new songs tomorrow. David is kind of like the ears of the band, he’s been sitting in on the mixing and now the final result is up!! Yes come tomorrow this time we’ll have the finished product of the first 3 singles coming from the new record!!! I will get into more detail about the release in a later blog, like next week. We are sending out some test tracks to radio people now and the response coming back is great!! We will be testing you guys in the next couple weeks!! You need to stay tuned to find out how to listen~~ So I’m sitting back in my office and jamming on WRFX 99.7 the Fox tonight, they are cooking tonight!! Right now Cat Scratch Fever, Ted Nugent is blazing in the back ground!! Anyway… Within the next 2 weeks we will be launching our new Myspace site as well as our new revamped swampdawamp.com site. Included in the new layouts are new band photo’s (They Rock!), our new Logo (Shirts available now) Now I’m laughing at how that just turned into a sales pitch!!!!LMAO!! But seriously… The new Logo, pix, And low and behold..Finally some new songs!!! You are going to experience an evolution with us on our sophomore disc. Everything about us has evolved, it’s really scary actually to sit back and reminisce from the first Disc and band lineup to now. The band is in total harmony at last with Michael (Scooby) Huffman on the B-3 & keys, Keith Inman on 1st lead guitar, Michael hough on lead guitar, Coday Bennett on bass, David Lee as always on drums and of course me on lead blog! I am very excited about the new songs. Joe Boyland our producer has done it again! Brought of of this band a vital image of who we are, now more than ever. Having been working with Joe over the last couple years has been very enlightening to say the least. He has worked relentlessly with the band on perfecting our music in the studio and even more so on the live show!! Oh Man. The Fox is rockin… Cant you see, Marshall Tucker now in my mind… So we will change gears to this emotion…..
You know I love music. I grew up on the greats. I am very grateful for the people in my life and I wouldn’t change my history at all except for one thing.. yes there is always something isn’t there? LOL! Without getting into drama I will just say this; If I had it to do over again I would have taken my son with me. And that’s that. I love my son!
So now the Police Walkin on the Moon takes over… Back to the Swamp! I cannot begin to tell you of all the new things coming very soon to the Swamp, but I can tell you this; We are launching a behind the scenes website for not only SwampdaWamp but the bands we dig as well. You will entertained by David Letterman type host’s with artist’s, chef’s and strippers alike! OK OK!! Well probably!!!LOL!!!! And we’re Back!!~~~ Also artist paintings and photo-Art…. basically anything that rocks as far as we are concerned. Hell it could be Green Bean of the week?????

Hey Everybody! It’s Saturday around 1:00 pm and I’m sitting in my office with my head all swollen, my throat on fire and haven’t been able to sleep in 2 days. No not a coke binge!! I have the damn flu funk that seems to be sweeping the nation at the moment. I can barely sit here and type coherently but I am just very excited to show you all my new blog page!! Check it out! When you click the “more” button you are taken to my blog land. My blog land is a nice and serene swampy bog located in cyber island. So as I sit here and almost went on to tell you a story of my blog land it hit me again. Head pounding must stop……. I am off to the medicine cabinet for my dosage of an array of vitamins, some chicken soup and it looks like I will be in bed watching movies all day……. The whole band has had this bug thru the last 2 weeks and I guess it was just inevitable that I get it sooner or later. At least we’re off this week so I can get well.

Hey folks!! Another week passes us by as if it were yesterday! It’s Wednesday night about midnight and I am embarking on yet another blog. This is my 40th blog, I can’t even imagine what I’ve said in the last 39 blogs!! Lol!! I hope somebody’s writing this down!
I think it’s finally time to introduce the band SwampdaWamp in its final form. You see, SwampdaWamp has existed for about 3 ½ years running. Throughout those years there have been member changes that some of you know about and some that you don’t. In the last 3 years we have been thru 5 B-3 players, 4 bass players and finally 1 guitar player! Through all of that we have had many auditions and trial runs with these people who inevitably didn’t work out, costing the band valuable time and stress like you wouldn’t believe. Nothing against the people that auditioned at all, don’t get me wrong. We had some great musicians play with us and we made a many new friends in doing so but styles are different and some people are just more suited for one more than the other. Once the rumors die out everybody’s happy!! LOL!!
No offense to you guys “our fans” but we had to keep it quiet for stability reasons. We didn’t sell SwampdaWamp as a reality show!! However the DVD is coming!!
So now it is with much confidence, respect & hope that we announce the welcome of Keith Inman into the Swamp as our smoking ass lead guitarist. Keith has stepped in and fits like a glove. He brings in the Les Paul modern stroke deep slingin we love!! As we venture into the new recordings I can only say that shit is gonna get ridiculous!! The new release as you know is just around the corner and we are all more stoked than ever. You will learn more about Keith in the upcoming press release’s as well as my blogs!
We also officially welcome Cody Bennett on Bass guitar. Cody has been in the mix from day one as a roadie and has been our fill in bassist for the last 8 months while we searched & auditioned and he had the ability to progress the more he played and there ya go. He is a great enthusiastic element to the band, Cheers to you Cody you’ve earned it!!

Speaking of new tracks, your response to participating in the test team has been tremendous!! I am flattered to say the least, very cool. Please encourage your friends to check it out as well, we need the support, trust me. But anyway the new tracks will be coming out on a website TBA where you will get a login thingamajig. The details shall emerge in a week or two.
