Hello my dear SwampdaBloggers,

Yes we’re going to refer to you all as “SwampdaBloggers”! LOL!! Yea I crack myself up too~~

On a serious note I would like to ask all of you to please turn your friends on to the Swamp and if they dig it ask them to do the same. Word of mouth is still the leader of advertising. We need that, but only if you believe. We hope to break boundaries with this new album, I hope you guys love it as much as we do~ Feel free to reach out to any of the band guys any time….

I must say that I am pretty proud of it. Our designer is Robbie James with Rock Star Graphics…Google him….

Right now we’re going thru the listening phase of an album; Thats where you live with what you’ve done a week before and critique it… Then do it over or not! lol! As I sit here with a neat glass of Crown listening to  rare Led Zepplin, I must say I dont quite give a fuck tonight! LOL! But seriously.. Heres a few titles for you to think about from the new album; Mr Bill, Fat Bot Can Jam, She and lastly…… Happy Anniversary…. just something to think about…

Howdy Soaks…I mean Folks!

I am very excited about 2011. Our new, and our 4th record, entitled Short Stories From A Long Road surfaces in or on April 2nd. We’ve grown a lot in the past couple years and have made a few adjustments. We’ve been tested by the Rock Gods with things such as managers dying, managers that should have been students, Labels trying to stiff us, Venues writing us bad checks, Producers promising us the world to just down right bad luck and then some. However, we refuse to go away. We simply can not go away and will not. I am possessed by this disease of need. I am sure this is the same story from all great Artists. They say it’s paying your dues. OK, I can deal with that. I shall continue to pay my dues. Music to me was my best friend growing up. I found peace of mind in my collection, which included Led Zepplin, The Who, Yes, Phil Collins & Genesis, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, The Rolling Stones, of course The Beatles, but thats just the main staples. I went through a tough childhood and simply found tomorrow through song from the bands I just mentioned. So I sit here now wanting to share that with our fans. A touch of reality that helps you deal with everyday life, as well as myself, lol! I find it very therapeutic to find release through song. After all~ We get by with a little help from our friends~ right?
